The tools to sell the Meeroos are many, but is difficult to indicate the Genes beyond the Coat. The interesting features of the Meeroos are often hidden by the tools that sellers use.
For this reason we created the new “Cake Signs” which indicate also the words: “Offspring,” “Parents”, ”Genes”, ”Traits” and “Traited”.
These special Cakes with these words, will alert the public about the genealogy of the Meeroos: it is possible to order the “Cakes” in to display all the informations clearly.
Each “Cake” is 1 Prim only, to allow you to save Prims at your Stand or your Farm. The Textures have been meticulously created through the graphic work of real cakes images, to make these signs more pleasing.
In addition, the brightness has been calibrated to create a minimum fluorescence to catch the attention of the customers also in the dark scene and during the night.

Gli strumenti di vendita dei Meeroos sono molteplici, ma è difficile segnalare ai potenziali acquirenti quando un Meeroo ha dei tratti interessanti che vanno al di là del Coat.
Per questo motivo nascono le nuovissime “Cake Signs” che, oltre a contenere tutti i Coats, i Tratti e le Taglie, contengono anche le diciture “Offspring”, “Parents”, “Genes”, “Traits” e “Traited”.
In questo modo sarà più facile segnalare al pubblico la genealogia dei Meeroos in modo accattivante: infatti, è possibile sovrapporre le “Torte” in modo tale da mostrare tutte le indicazioni in modo chiaro.
Ogni “Torta” è costituita da 1 Prim, per evitare di rubare spazio prezioso al vostro Stand o alla vostra Farm. Le Textures sono state create meticolosamente grazie al lavoro di grafica effettuato sulle immagini di torte reali, per rendere il tutto più piacevole alla vista.
Inoltre, la luminosità è stata calibrata in modo tale da creare una fluorescenza minima, ma che attira l’attenzione anche nei Markets dallo scenario più scuro ed anche durante il settaggio notturno.

His name is Gale, he is a little Toy sized male and he is the last of the Coats of the Pine Meeroo family. He was born on November 7th and he is the first Mistwalker Coat ever.
Examining Gale’s family tree, we can notice that, although he is the successor of the Snowpaw (Pine Meeroo), the Mistwalker Coat came from two Caledonians, that belong to the Gale Meeroo family.
Mother and father are both Caledonian. Specifically, the mother came from an Ursine and a Toy Cinder. The father came from two Caledonian and one of them was a pure Toy.
Reading the family tree, we can see that the Caledonian parents of the Mistwalker, have Cinder, Red and Winecoat relatives. An interesting detail is that there are many Traits in all the genealogy: Toy size, Short Upright Ears and Short tail.
This Family Tree confirm the theory that Traits and Sizes are important for the birth of interesting Coats. Some Coats are less important than others, but is clear that, by continuing to breed them through generations, they use to improveme their own genealogy.
Surprisingly, there aren’t Loch and Snowpaw Coats in the genealogy of this little gem called Gale.
The genealogy of this Mistwalker helps us to understand how they can birth. The experiment suggested is to breed your 4th/5th generation Caledonians, trying to get random traits and pure sizes. Once you have your couples, you should continue to breed until you get a significant improvement of the genes.

Gale: the first Mistwalker ever
Si chiama Gale, è un piccolo maschio di taglia Toy ed è l’ultimo dei Coats della famiglia Pine Meeroo. E’ nato il 7 Novembre ed è il primo Mistwalker che è nato.
Esaminando l’albero genealogico di Gale, possiamo notare che, sebbene sia il successore dello Snowpaw (Pine Meeroo), il Coat Mistwalker è arrivato da due Caledonian, appartenenti alla famiglia Gale Meeroo.
Madre e padre sono entrambi Caledonian. Nello specifico, la mamma è nata da un Ursine ed una Cinder toy. Il papà è nato da due Caledonian di cui un Toy puro.
Continuando a leggere l’albero genealogico, possiamo notare che i Caledonian che hanno dato alla luce il Mistwalker, hanno antenati Cinder, Red e Winecoat. Un particolare interessante è che nella genealogia sono presenti molti Toy e molti tratti come “Short Upright Ears” e “Short Tail”.
I tratti e la taglia, confermano la teoria che siano importanti per la nascita di nuovi interessanti Coats. Sebbene alcuni Coats siano meno importanti di altri, ciò che si evince è che, continuando ad allevarli e proseguendo con le generazioni, essi portano notevoli miglioramenti nella loro stessa genealogia.
Sorprendente, invece, il fatto che non siano presenti nè il coat Loch, nè il coat Snowpaw nella genealogia di questo gioiellino dal nome Gale.
La genealogia di questo Mistwalker ci aiuta a capire come se ne possono far nascere altri. L’esperimento suggerito è, dunque, quello di allevare i vostri Caledonian di quarta o quinta generazione, cercando ti ottenere tratti casuali e taglie pure. Una volta ottenute le vostre coppie, occorre continuare ad allevare fino a quando non si ottiene un notevole miglioramento dei geni.

Gale: il primo Mistwalker
Recently, we noticed that the Open Bids are multiplying in the universe of Second Life.
The Open Bids allow the breeders to sell their Meeroos from only 100 Linden without any reserve price.
This is the question: is it right to let the buyers choose to price of the Meeroos for sale? In an ideal world, of course, the answer would be “yes”. The problem is that sometimes happens that there aren’t many buyers at the auctions: this is a problem that change the market, underestimating the work of the breeders.
The market is going down, in our opinion, mostly because of Open Bids, because they tend to depreciate the value of Meeroos.
Because of these opinions, we suggest to all breeders to sell their Meeroos at regular auctions, to revive the market in waiting for the arrival of the new Meeroos: the Nocturnal.
We would suggest also to the owners of the Markets that offer auctions at their places to increase the regular auctions to attract more breeders and to raise the quality of their auctions.

Recentemente, abbiamo notato che le Open Bids si stanno moltiplicando nell’universo di Second Life.
Le Open Bid consentono di vendere i propri Meeroos a partire da soli 100 Linden senza alcun prezzo di riserva.
La questione, dunque, è la seguente: è giusto lasciare che siano gli acquirenti a prezzare i Meeroos? In un mondo ideale, ovviamente, la risposta sarebbe “si”, ma quando durante le aste, gli acquirenti sono pochi, si rischia di sottovalutare il lavoro dell’allevatore.
Il mercato sta andando al ribasso, a parere nostro, soprattutto per via delle Open Bid, perchè tendono a svalutare il valore dei Meeroos.
Suggeriamo a tutti gli allevatori di vendere i loro Meeroos alle aste regolari, in modo tale da risollevare il mercato in previsione dell’arrivo dei nuovi Meeroos, i Nocturnal.
Ci sentiamo di suggerire anche ai proprietari dei Markets che offrono aste, di aumentare le aste regolari rispetto a quelle Open Bid, per attirare più allevatori e per alzare di qualità le proprie aste.
